Blair County Chamber of Commerce

Mission

The Corporation is organized for the purpose of providing economic support to and for the educational and charitable activities of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce and working to directly stimulate economic development in areas that are within the Blair County region.


Purpose

The Chamber Foundation is a 501-(C)(3) foundation created by The Chamber to offer tax advantages to business or individuals willing to make contributions to any of the educational programs currently operated or endorsed by The Chamber. Those programs are:

  1. BASICS
  2. PA Free Enterprise Week
  3. Leadership Blair County
  4. Leadership Blair County Youth

 

Funding from The Foundation allows students from surrounding school
districts to participate in the PA Free Enterprise Week program.

Application

Due to funding restrictions, The Foundation is not accepting applications at this time.

Requests for funding are reviewed by The Foundation's Allocation Subcommittee and then sent to the Board for final approval. Download The Foundation's application for funding here.
