The award was created to pay tribute to a longtime Chamber member who personified the best characteristics of a businessperson, altruism, ethics and selflessness.
Joseph Rosenhamer understood how businesses working together always accomplished more. This spirit will be carried on through the annual award.
The criteria for nomination are:
- Nominee must be a member in good standing with the Blair County Chamber of Commerce.
- He/she should have been actively involved in some Chamber program, event, project or other service related enterprise during the past year.
- He/she should be someone more accustomed to working behind the scenes and deflecting credit or publicity.
- He/she should be someone easily recognized as an advocate of The Chamber and the business Community.
