Committees
LBC Steering
The LBC Steering Committee meets the first Friday of every other month at 8 a.m.
at The Chamber. The Steering Committee is made up of the chairpersons of the LBC
Adult, LBC Youth, LBC Marketing committees, a representative of the Alumni Association
and the Blair County Chamber Foundation. There are also three committee members
at large who have not gone through the program. The Steering Committee fields reports
from the various committees, is responsible for any new program that may be developed,
methods to assist the Foundation with raising scholarships for the programs and
selection of the facilitators when needed.
LBC Marketing
The LBC Marketing Committee is responsible for marketing and promoting the adult
and youth programs, as well as, when possible, assisting the Alumni Association.
Meetings are held once every six weeks at 8 a.m.
LBC Adult Program
The LBC Adult Program Committee is responsible for the curriculum, selection of
applicants and planning of graduation for the adult program. The committee meets
the first Wednesday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m. at The Chamber.
LBC Youth Program
The LBC Youth Program Committee is responsible for the curriculum of the Youth Program,
obtaining applications, selection of students and the graduation planning. The committee
meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at The Chamber.
