As a key member of the City’s senior management team, the Finance Director is responsible for a wide range of functions including accounting, finance, risk management, debt issuance, and budgeting, payroll oversight, and pension administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, excellent analytic skills, and a supportive, teambuilding leadership style. The Finance Director is a principal architect of the City’s nearly $35 million budget and will also be responsible for overseeing grants and housing programs. A keen eye for numbers must be balanced by passion for the City’s mission and the desire to deliver outstanding customer service to residents.
