Job Requirements
- 3+ years of heavy earth work construction
- Minimum of 1 of 2 seasons leading a pipe crew
- Proven leadership skills along with the ability to train and motivate a productive and safe team
- Strong communication, listening, and organizations skills
- OSHA training preferred
- Valid Driver’s license – MVR will be reviewed
- CDL driver’s license a plus
- Willing to travel and be flexible with schedule
Pipe-Foreman Responsibilities:
- Safely install water, sewer and drainage pipe
- Demonstrate a good understanding of soil conditions and how to work successfully in each
- Ability to calculate grade and work with a pipe laser
- Experience setting up lane closures in all types of highways
- Lead and mentor job site personnel
- Prioritize safety by maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and subcontractors while complying with all OSHA and environmental safety standards
- Monitor all job site activity throughout the day, coordinating and balancing activity to ensure that the daily plan is achieved, making adjustments in assignment as necessary for the master plan, schedule and budget is adhered to
