Job Description:
New Pig is currently recruiting for an Entry Level Software to join its software engineering team as a full stack developer, working in the areas of ecommerce, systems integration, and Salesforce (CRM). We are seeking creative and talented individuals who love learning and are motivated to launch their Technology career. No prior professional experience required.
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Developing scalable and maintainable software solutions across a variety of disciplines based on business initiatives and objectives
• Collaborating with diverse teams providing input and guidance on technical requirements and constraints
• Work with the DevOps team to ensure the availability and stability of all New Pig software systems

Technologies you will work with:

• Java, Spring Framework, NodeJS, Bootstrap, Angular, Vaadin
• Databases including MySQL and MS SQL Server
• AWS Serverless Technologies including API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, and SQS
• Com and Apex
• Apache Solr and Lucidworks Fusion
• AWS ML/AI Technologies including SageMaker and Rekognition

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience or course work developing software using Java
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Familiar with object-oriented programming, design patterns, inversion of control, and aspect-oriented programming
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with marketing, creative, operations, and development teams
• Familiar with source control systems such as Git
• Adhere to all health & safety, quality, and environmental standards, policies and procedures
