The Chamber traces its roots to April 26, 1887. Since those early days, The Chamber has had an impact on the business climate of our region. The Chamber was a catalyst for business development back then and remains so today.

Whether it’s by advocating for public policy to better help our member businesses succeed, or offering informative and educational programs or creating networking opportunities, The Chamber is dedicated to serving our nearly 1,000 members. Our events, programs and services are made to put members in contact with the business community of Blair County.

Chamber Blue Card Program

The Chamber has initiated a new program  in which special membership cards are being distributed to the employees of all our member-businesses – more than 44,000 in all. The Blue Card will allow members to save some money while supporting local companies that sell products and services.
