Welcome to the Blair County Chamber of Commerce!

The Chamber traces its roots to April 26, 1887. Since those early days, The Chamber has had an impact on the business climate of our region. The Chamber was a catalyst for business development back then and remains so today.

Whether it’s by advocating for public policy to better help our member businesses succeed, or offering informative and educational programs or creating networking opportunities, The Chamber is dedicated to serving our nearly 1,000 members. Our events, programs and services are made to put members in contact with the business community of Blair County.

Joining The Chamber is just the first step. By getting involved, your business can make the most of your membership by putting The Chamber to work for you.

Help develop the next generation of leaders for Blair County!

Since 2003, the Chamber’s Leadership Blair County Youth program has been cultivating the service and leadership potential of high school sophomores who have the potential to lead but may lack the confidence to use their skills. Without your donation, these students would not have the opportunity to realize and reach their full leadership potential.

The Blair County Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, financially supports children’s education programs with your generous, tax deductible, donation.

BUY HERE LIVE HERE  Visit BuyHereLiveHere.com

Buy Here. Live Here. is an initiative of the Blair County Chamber of Commerce to make people aware of these new trends and how they affect not just our economy, but our standard of living. It’s more than just about spending. It’s a way of life.

The Chamber has initiated a new program in which special membership cards are being distributed to the employees of all our member-businesses – more than 44,000 in all. The Blue Card will allow members to save some money while supporting local companies that sell products and services. The premise is simple: Encourage Chamber Members to offer discounts to other members so that more sales occur and more transactional dollars stay close to home.
