Description:
Child Advocates of Blair County is currently seeking an Executive Director for the Head Start and Pre-K Counts Early Learning programs. The Executive Director is responsible for managing all program functions of the organization, to coach, mentor, supervise, and support managers, and to provide leadership in planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of programs. The Executive Director is responsible for working alongside the Head Start and Pre-K Counts Program Managers to carry out the administration and management of all aspects of the Head Start and Pre-K Counts programs in accordance with state and federal regulations. This position assists in providing leadership, supervision, and helps oversee the overall program including fiscal and legal aspects to ensure smooth functioning of the program in all areas to provide quality services to children and families.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and experience in early childhood education and/or supervision and administration. Master’s degree not required but desirable. Specific experience with Head Start/Early Head Start program management and fiscal management, including grant writing, is preferred.
