Technology evangelist: Someone who can partner with key business users to select systems and technology to support their strategic business objectives. Additionally, this individual will communicate the business value of implementing new systems or updating the existing ones for the current workforce while preparing for a future workforce that is more technology enabled.
Staff development: A manager that values the ongoing professional development of their team members. This individual will have a love of learning and coach their team to adopt and internalize best practices, continuous improvement, introspection, and personal growth.
Process knowledge / focus: This role requires someone with a strong process and consulting background. While the successful candidate will be expected to learn the subject matter and current systems in use by the business units they support, the greater need is for someone that can create a team of internal consultants. The focus of the BA function is leading a process of discovery, analysis, and definition for projects to improve the operational capabilities of the company.
Location and Schedule: This position is assigned to the NESL Corporate office located in New Enterprise, PA. The leader that fills this role will be expected to work in the office 3-4 days per week. Travel to other area offices to learn and understand business processes or provide training and system go-live support may be required from time to time.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field. 2 years of experience leading teams. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

- Demonstrated experience as a business analyst, quality assurance analyst, product manager, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience as a team leader or first line supervisor.
- Demonstrated experience working as a member of a cross functional project team.
- Knowledge of KPI development, process definition, process measurement, and process improvement.
- Strong organizational and communications skills.
- Love of learning with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- System modeling, data modeling, report writing tools, and SQL knowledge a plus.
- JD Edwards knowledge a plus.
Essential Functions:
- Portfolio / Project Management
- Work with the business organization to create and maintain a portfolio of IT projects prioritized in the corporate strategic roadmap.
- Represent the needs/priorities of the business organization in IT/technology discussions.
- Coordinating and communicating with internal and external resources throughout the lifecycle of a project to ensure business support for the effort (executives, business users/clients, system users, IT staff, and third-party vendors).
- Develop plans to implement and/or support new product/service releases and ensure they are managed according to the NESL SDLC Policy and Procedure.
- Serve as the owner of third-party relationships for external vendors/partners.
- Resolve escalated customer and vendor issues.
- Business Analysis / Quality Assurance
- Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer and business needs
- Perform business process modeling, process engineering.
- Perform cost-benefit, ROI and other types of analysis on roadmap projects to evaluate potential solutions and implementation methods.
- Create and maintain business and functional requirements.
- Produce wireframes and flow diagrams to describe user / system interactions.
- Construct test strategies/plans/scripts to validate and verify project deliverables and system upgrades.
- Create end user documentation and deliver training as needed.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Team Development
- Train, coach, and mentor Business Analysts to ensure they are effectively supporting their areas of responsibility.
- Create professional development plans to grow technical and subject matter expertise within the team.
- Develop and maintain tools, processes, and standards to increase productivity and ensure quality.
- Instill corporate values in team members; maintain a high level of team morale.
