Description:
The Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to play an integral role in public/media relations, donor communications, and content creation for our organization.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals
Assist in the development of all strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and plans by implementation of the organization’s brand strategy
Develops advertisements, flyers, promotional content, newsletter design and content, and press release content for events
Develops and maintains list of all media and speaking engagement contacts
Investigate new media opportunities (print, events, online, advertorials), negotiate rates, and book space
Manage the content of our website and subsidiary sites to ensure that they are current, dynamic, and relevant in order to make it a selling tool. Periodically refresh stories for website. Review web analytics and ad words campaigns on an ongoing basis and generate monthly reports regarding site traffic
Manage the organization’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant, by keeping them active and dynamic
Grow our email list organically, not through bought or rented lists, and manage various email campaigns, including the template designs
Assist with event planning, including working with vendors, event coordinators, and design teams.
This position is full-time. The office hours are 8 am until 4 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute lunch break.

- Education – Four-year degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or the like.
- Experience – Marketing or Communication
- Skills – Microsoft Office, WordPress website updates, Social Media for business, Adobe Creative Suite
- Superior creative and technical writing skills
- Keen eye for detail and ability to produce high quality content
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships with others
- Ability to maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of information regarding organization’s financial and donor information
- Graphic Design - Experience a plus, but not required
