Key responsibilities include:
- Clean electro-mechanical equipment assemblies using various methods and steps, including but not limited to: parts washers, steamers, caustic tanks, etc.
- Works with tools to tear down various pieces of equipment.
- Ensures that all cleaning equipment and supplies are in working condition and available.
- Assists supervisor and shop employees with various tasks as assigned.
- Uses computer tablet to input data as required.
- Helps in packing items and prepare packages for shipping.
- Operate machinery and equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane.
- Move incoming and outgoing product.
- Prioritize tasks according to deadlines.
- Maintain clean and hazard free work areas.
- Attend and successfully complete all safety training.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Written and verbal communication.
- Strong time management.
- Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately.
- Awareness of and respect for safety regulations.
- Physical strength and stamina.
- Able to lift and move loads under 50 lbs.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Be available for overtime when needed.
- Have reliable transportation.
